in fremont at a wal-mart. that was captured on video. his foster father lewis ross said he brought the boy here four days later to the shoes at rockridge august 10th when he left the boy in the car, came back a few minutes later. the boy was gone. the boy has cerebral palsy, undoubtedly did not wander off. ross's story was never bought by the police. he and the boy's foster mother were arrested on suspicion of murder. ross failed a polygraph. he also texted campbell saying he was going to abandon a boy at a bart station. he was fed up trying to care for him but the d.a. didn't see a case and the two were released. a citizens for the lost society remembers the day she began seeing the foster parents as suspects. >> february 13th, 2009, when our volunteers were in the neighborhood putting up fliers and they were at the bedroom window and told them to get the hell away from his property. an innocent person wouldn't do that. i think that was a turning point for everybody. >> ross and campbell moved to arizona a few months after the disappearance and have since separated. today there's
